We’re recording with Steve Albini March 10
That's right. We're hooking up with the master, Steve Albini, whose recorded so many killer bands it's ridiculous;Helmet, Pixies, PJ Harvey, Nirvana, Jesus Lizard, The Stooges....the list goes on and on.
March 10 we're heading up to Electrical Audio studios in Chicago for 1 full day of recording. Yup, 1 day is all it takes (our last CD we knocked out in 6 hours). Plus, we don't want some over-produced piece of crap. As always we're going to keep it raw.
We will update as new info develops

The band is pleased to announce that the search for a new drummer is over!
Robert Cooper has joined up and is now officially a Splint.
The band will continue to tighten everything up and plan to start playing shows ASAP!
Be on the look out for that.

11/11/07
The band has been practicing and writing new material. As far as drummers go, there is still no new member. But the band are in talks with a few drummers and will be practicing with them soon.
They hope to have a final replacement and be playing shows again in the next few months.

The band has relocated to the Washington DC area ( Woodbridge, VA to be exact) and are looking for a drummer. If you are a drummer and think you would fit what The Splints are doing please do not hesitate to contact us! The band wants to get out and play shows again as soon as possible and begin preparing for it's full lenth album. Drop us a line!!

The band shot their first music video last night .It was for the song "Stillborn".
The location was Nightshade Manor, a professional haunted house in Midtown Memphis,TN. It was conceived and directed by Memphis filmmaker - John Pickle (The importance of being Russell). Once it is edited and ready to put up we will let you know. This thing is going to be sick!! Stay posted!
The Splints moving back to DC!! / Need new drummer

Yes, it's true. The band will be heading back to Washington DC
after it's final show as Memphis, TN residents Sep 20 @ Murphy's.
"We love Memphis and it's been great.

With that said, they will be needing a drummer out in the DC,Woodbridge VA area.

CD Release show HUGE success!!
The CD release party last night...
Goddamn what a night.
Murphy's was packed.
A big thank you to all the people who came out to support the band and the cd. And to everyone who bought it!! I don't remember the last time Murphy's was that full. Thank you very much.
And thanks to The Strongest Proof, Thorax Hum and the Joint Chiefs for playing with us, you guys all rocked balls.
Thanks to Liz and Lynn Sanity for your performances and to Suzy and Jeff AKA The Humping Show for providing excellent music for the girls.
